When Angela Black expanded AB Accountancy Solutions Ltd into new office premises, she wanted to ensure clients and the wider community were aware of the business’s growth. With support from Cumbria Accelerator advisors, she implemented a simple marketing strategy and successful press release that boosted visibility and helped attract new clients.

More than 110 political leaders, investors and business representatives attended Cumbria’s Going for Growth Showcase at the Houses of Parliament, hosted by Josh MacAlister. Delivered by Enterprising Cumbria with partners including Cumbria Combined Authority, Cumberland Council and Westmorland and Furness Council, the event promoted Cumbria as a nationally significant destination for investment and highlighted key sectors driving the region’s future economic growth.

Cumbria is set to take centre stage at the Houses of Parliament next month as political leaders, investors and industry representatives gather together for an economic showcase designed to unlock the county’s next chapter of growth.
