Enterprising Cumbria champions investment opportunities at UKREiiF 2025

Enterprising Cumbria was proud to join colleagues from Westmorland & Furness Council and Cumberland Council at UKREiiF 2025, where more than 16,000 attendees gathered to explore opportunities in regeneration, infrastructure, and investment.
The UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum (UKREiiF) is a major annual event that brings together professionals from the real estate, infrastructure and investment sectors across the UK. Established in 2022, UKREiiF aims to connect people, places, and businesses to drive sustainable, inclusive, and transformative investment and regeneration.
Throughout the event, the team promoted Cumbria as a prime location for businesses and developers, highlighting the region’s potential for growth and prosperity.
Across the week, hundreds of delegates visited the Cumbria stand, with many promising conversations set to continue as we follow up to encourage further investment.
Paul Foster, Head of Programmes at Enterprising Cumbria, said:
"This was the first time that Cumbria has taken such a high-profile role at this significant annual event, and many conversations were had with businesses and developers who may consider investing in Cumbria, whether by relocating their business, opening a new branch, or developing new sites for housing or commercial use.
"These conversations are really important as they can bring wealth to our county, which is ultimately what we are trying to achieve."
Attracting new investment into Cumbria will help businesses thrive and create opportunities for local residents, ensuring the county continues to grow and prosper.
